Strādāt iespējams gan klātienē, gan attālināti – pieslēdzoties mūsu Discord serverim. Galvenais – esi gatavs uzcept savu spēles zapti!
Kā un kur tas notiks-?
Pasākums notiks klātienē Rīgā, Raiņa bulvārī 19 (RB19), 3. stāvā. Dalība iespējama arī attālināti, taču spēles prezentācija notiks uz vietas, un vismaz vienam komandas dalībniekam būs jābūt klātienē.
Tu vari izstrādāt jebkāda veida spēli, taču īpaši aicinām radīt kaut ko no nulles. Šis ir izstrādes maratons, kurā vari beidzot īstenot kādu sen lolotu un radošu ideju — gan programmēšanas, gan fizisku galda spēļu formātā!
Pasākuma laikā tev palīdzēs mentori, tiešsaistes resursi un klātesošā kopiena. Šis ir BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) pasākums, kurā dalībnieki izmanto savas ierīces, taču galda spēļu prototipēšanai būs pieejams arī 3D printeris un lāzergriezējs.

Dalība iespējama komandās no viena līdz pieciem cilvēkiem. Pasākums ir piemērots gan iesācējiem bez priekšzināšanām, gan tiem, kuriem jau ir pieredze spēļu izstrādes jomā.

Darbnīcas-?
No 1. līdz 20. jūlijam būs iespēja pieteikties un piedalīties spēļu izstrādes darbnīcās, kurās varēs apgūt dažādas spēļu izstrādes prasmes un sagatavoties gaidāmajam spēļu izstrādes maratonam.
Darbnīcas vadīs mentori ar pieredzi spēļu izstrādē, tāpēc ļoti iesakām tās apmeklēt — īpaši, ja tev vēl nav iepriekšējas pieredzes spēļu izstrādē.

Nakšņošana-?
Būs iespēja palikt pa nakti pasākuma norises vietā – Raiņa bulvārī 19!
Tomēr, lūdzu, ņem vērā šīs svarīgās lietas:
1) Ja neesi pilngadīgs, nakšņot drīkstēsi tikai ar vecāku rakstisku atļauju (bez tās varēsi uzturēties ēkā līdz plkst. 22.00).
2) Mēs nenodrošinām matračus, spilvenus vai segas – ja plāno gulēt, lūdzu, ņem līdzi savu ekipējumu.
3) Kategoriski aizliegts ienest alkoholiskos dzērienus!

You can work either on-site or remotely by joining our Discord server. The most important thing — come ready to cook up your own game jam!
How and where will it happen–?
The event will take place in person in Riga at Raiņa bulvāris 19 (RB19), 3rd floor. Remote participation is also possible, but the final game presentation will happen on-site, and at least one team member must attend in person.
You can develop any kind of game, but we especially encourage creating something from scratch. This is a development marathon where you can finally bring a long-awaited creative idea to life — whether as a digital game or a physical board game!
Throughout the event, you’ll be supported by mentors, online resources, and the community. This is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) event, meaning participants are expected to use their own devices. However, for board game prototyping, a 3D printer and a laser cutter will also be available.
Everything starts with the registration form — you can sign up individually or as a team. After registering, join our Discord server to follow JJAM 2026 updates, receive important information, and ask any questions you may have.

How can you participate–?
You can participate either individually or in teams of up to five people. The event is open to everyone — from complete beginners with no prior experience to participants who already have experience in game development.

After registering, join our Discord server to stay updated on JJAM 2026 news, receive important information, and ask any questions you may have.
Workshops–?
From July 1 to July 20, there will be the opportunity to sign up for and attend game development workshops, where anyone can learn various game development skills and prepare for the upcoming game jam.
The workshops will be led by mentors with experience in game development, so we highly recommend attending if you have little or no prior experience in creating games.
More information will be announced here on datoriki.lv and in the event Discord server, which becomes available after completing the registration form.
Accommodation–?
There will be an option to stay overnight at the event venue — Raiņa bulvāris 19! However, please keep the following important points in mind:
1) If you are under 18, you may only stay overnight with written permission from a parent or guardian. Without it, you may remain in the building only until 22:00.
2) We do not provide mattresses, pillows, or blankets — if you plan to sleep at the venue, please bring your own equipment.
3) Bringing alcoholic beverages into the venue is strictly prohibited.
