JAVA SW EXPERT (M/F)

QiBit is the company specialized in Information Technologies and Communications,

part of the Gi Group, an Italian multinational and one of the largest companies

worldwide in Human Resources services.

Our client is a multinational company in the telecommunication sector that operates in

Lisbon, Portugal at the level of research and development of software solutions for

optical communication networks. They are now looking for a Developer to integrate

their Java team.

Main responsibilities:

– Receive and analyze the functional requirements;

– Plan and develop applications;

– Maintain the existing applications, doing some bug fixing and small developments.

Requirements:

– Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Telecommunications;

– Solid knowledge of Java (J2SE/J2EE) development and Eclipse with JUnit plugin (test

environments;

– Knowledge of Software engineering practices and design patterns with focus on

application development

– Strong knowledge in JSP, Maven, Design Patterns and Testing tools;

– Knowledge of Object Oriented Concepts;

– Knowledge on Data Structures and Multi-Threading and Application Servers (JBOSS

will be valued);

– Know how in Oracle, LDAP and CORBA is valued

– Fluent in English written and spoken;

– Good interactive communication skills;

– Customer orientation, structured & systematic working attitude and personal

commitment;

– Team Player.
